Here at Bauhaus Brew Labs, we live by the Bauhaus concept that if you make good things, you may bring good to the world. We strive to serve our community in the ways we know best: by creating a variety of unique, flavorful beverages, hosting wicked events that celebrate our local art scene, and ensuring that our taproom in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis is a safe and inclusive space for all.

From our humble beginnings through today, we have always been inspired by our namesake: the Bauhaus.
A quick history lesson…
In 1919, Walter Gropius created a new type of school in Germany called Bauhaus, where students could explore and excel at many types of art and craft. It was a place where experimentation of all mediums was encouraged, rejecting traditional methods of academic rigidity.
While short-lived, the Bauhaus fostered a design concept that has since inspired a worldwide movement over 100 years later, carrying the philosophy that the joy of art and craft should be celebrated as a part of everyday life.
